A Pair! OrthoSleeve FS6 Compression Sleeve Review [Helped]

Have you ever had it happen when you hear through the grapevine that a certain product will help your pain and when you finally get it it doesn't help at all? Here at foot pain depot we want to be another point of contact that you can look at to try and heal your foot pain.

We dug around and found a product to help with targeted compression on the bottom of your foot – compression to help relieve pain aligned with plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, and general arch pain at the bottom of the foot.

OrthoSleeve FS6 Compression Foot Sleeve Description

If you've had a chance to do any of the plantar fasciitis exercises we've outlined for you, you've already noticed something – light, targeted compression on the bottom of the foot feels good.

But, it'd be a pain in itself to sit all day with your leg hiked, pushing on the bottom of your foot, right?

Enter the OrthoSleeve FS6 Compression Foot Sleeve. Simply slip on the pair, just like a pair of socks, and let 'em go to work.

The OrthoSleeve FS6 Compression Foot Sleeve has six targeted support zones, with three levels of compression, starting with light compression at the top of the sleeve and getting slightly tighter as it moves down the foot through the arch.

This targeted moderate transition from light to moderate compression helps boost circulation and eases the pain of plantar fasciitis.

OrthoSleeve is also made of 24% spandex and 76% Micro-Nylon, so the fabric acts as a bit of a moisture-wicking fabric. Meaning, this compression pair breaths easily – so your foot will be comfortable all day long.

And unlike others, this compression foot sleeve comes in a pair. And it is typically a little less expensive too! double plus! This means that you can either have both on at the same time or if only one foot is bothering you you can always have a clean one to use.

OrthoSleeve FS6 Compression Foot Sleeve Review

As you have noticed when you press on the bottom of your feet it feels so good. The OrthoSleeve keeps the pressure on all of the time. Which means that you are going to have to have less Advil to keep you moving. Also, since it is helping with one of the root causes of plantar fasciitis it is probably actually helping to heal the problem.

This Holds Your Feet Together

We actually know a few people that use these socks even though they do not have a typical foot problem, their only issue is that they are very active. The daily strain of bike riding or running can wear your feet out but these help give just that little bit of extra support so at the end of the day you are not suffering at all.

One thing to note here about the OrthoSleeve FS6 is that it is not sized like a regular sock. It comes pretty close but it is actually sized based on the arch circumference of your foot. This totally makes sense since the job of this sock is to keep pressure around the middle of your arch so if you have a super skinny arch but long feet and you get a larger size then it will not apply the right amount of pressure. Below we have shown the sizing.

Make sure you order the right size so you are satisfied as much as many of the other users of the OrthoSleeve FS6.

Do These Work For Plantar Fasciitis?

This is a hard question to answer since everybody will have different experiences and each medical case is different. What we do know is that we were given lots of little heel cups and metatarsal pads to help out our issue and they helped a little but really they just padded the area of pain instead of helping the root issue of the pain.

If you look at the typical way that plantar fasciitis occurs it is that the fascia along the bottom of your foot is getting worn out and is not doing what it should. The fascia should stretch and contract and be part of your human spring, but in this case it is just a little loose. What the sock does is it acts as a slight reminder and helper to the fascia to push it back up where it is supposed to go.

Potential Problems with OrthoSleeve FS6 Foot Sleeve

Are there potential problems with the OrthoSleeve? Sure, just any product has its potential downside, but most of the issues we've seen with this product are centered around personal preference regarding tension.

Others have warned that the sizing seems a bit off or small. However, it is most likely due to the fact that the OrthoSleeve is sized by foot circumference at the arch. To reiterate, those sizes are:

Bottom Line On The OrthoSleeve

Most of the people that have used the OrthoSleeve find that it helps them, to varying degrees but it helps. At a pretty low price for a pair it is probably worth a shot if you are suffering. We can not guarantee anything since every medical case is different but these did help us. It is currently our top pick for plantar fasciitis compression sleeves.
